Course Dates

Join Kate for a Deep Doula Dive, covering all aspects of the role, from 10am to 12pm. Trauma Informed Doula Education modules included. You will be ready to start practice after this course. Doula UK accredited and certificated. (This course runs with a minimum of 4 participants).

Please note-this is a course which covers pregnancy, birth and postpartum trauma responses as well as chronic trauma. It is kind and supportive, but not a therapeutic environment, so if you have trauma round your perinatal year, please ensure you are well supported outside of the group.

Please also manage your expectations around being ready to learn about the role of supporter, not to continually debrief your own story. There will be an opportunity for your sharing of course and it will be very welcome, but this will not remain the focus.

Come along and explore what might be standing between you and your chosen path as a Birthkeeper. Starting Thursday January 16th from and running every Thursday for 6 weeks, ending on February 20th. 6pm to 7.30pm.

Join ‘Essentially Daisy’ on Sunday February 2nd from 10am to 12pm, for an online workshop for an exploration of using aromatherapy in pregnancy, labour and postpartum. Join Samsara online for a 6 week exploration of all things Postnatal. Sunday mornings from February 2nd to March 9th, 10.30am to 12.30pm.This course is certificated and accredited with Doula UK and you will be able to practice as a Postnatal Doula at the end of it.

This course can be taken as a deeper dive into all things postnatal, for anyone who wants more information and to focus on Postnatal service, but can also be taken as a stand-alone training for this who feel initially into the Postpartum Doula role.

You can top up with the Birth Doula Course at any time as although there are some postnatal modules in the Birth and Postpartum courses, they are birth focused.

Join homeopath Zoe Scanlan on Wednesday the 26th of February from 7pm to 9pm, to explore remedies for common issues during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. CPD accredited and certificated. Discount price for Conscious Birthing students and Doula U.K. members, contact us for code.

Monday April 28th to Friday May 2nd, 10am to 5pm daily. Doula Training Course in the Avalon Birth House in Glastonbury, with Kate.. TIDE elements included on this training. Doula UK accredited and certificated. This is a foundation TIDE training, so no previous experience is necessary, and you will be certified to practice after the course. TIDE Birth and Postnatal courses include all of the original Birth and Postnatal course, but offer a more in-depth toolkit for working with a trauma informed approach.
