The Avalon Birth House

We are delighted to welcome you into the Avalon Birth House. This is a beautiful private space in Glastonbury, with views of Glastonbury Tor from most every window.
It’s a space dedicated to the protection and preservation of physiological birth. A home from home. A place where you can come and learn, reflect, resource yourself and prepare, as a pregnant woman, as a new parent or as a fledgling birthkeeper.

We have a library of books, a private garden, a fireplace and a large kitchen for us to gather around. We welcome you to Courses, space for Birthing, Motherblessings and more. Come spend time with the wondrous Grandmother Doula Samsara Tanner in preparation for birth, or have a prenatal massage with one of our amazing practitioners. We have a beautiful treatment room and offer bespoke packages with Homeopaths, Nutritionalists, Massage Therapists, Baby Massage Therapists and more.

Come live with us whilst you learn the ancient art of birthkeeping or whilst you await your baby’s arrival. Stay and birth in the magic of Avalon. Enjoy your first weeks as a new family here and indulge in treatments, working with our team to provide the perfect Earthisde Retreat.
Spend an afternoon here with your sisters in celebration of your birth and motherhood ahead at a Motherblessing, or pop round to borrow a book or two from our extensive library.
