I am a mother and a practitioner/ teacher of auricular acupuncture, Reiki, reflexology, HeartThread and meditation, to name just a few of the things I have in my tool kit. I have worked with women and men for over 20 years, facilitating a rich variety of nourishing and empowering courses, workshops, and retreats.
My belief is that everyone has the right to live a rich and fulfilling life that makes them happy.
My philosophy is that kindness, wisdom, compassion, and connection, create the right conditions for us to make kind choices that uplift, nurture, and inspire us and open the doorways for our discovering and creating what it is we truly want.
My decision to become a doula came from my own experience of giving birth to my daughter, and not having the support I needed to create the birth experience that I wanted for us both. I knew then that I wanted to help other women going through pregnancy and childbirth, so they would feel the comfort and support of having someone by their side, committed to their wishes for themselves, their baby, and their birthing experience.
It is so important to be listened to, to have help exploring choices, so we can make decisions about what we want and don’t want. We all need to have someone who will walk besides us, hold a safe and warm, comforting space, empowering us to make this precious time as memorable and beautiful as possible, in a way that is just right for us.
I am a life guide, teacher and doula, and a source of kindness and compassion. I will help you to find your centre and your way. I can do this in many ways but will always start with making a connection. We will talk and connect, and in a nurturing space, you can safely share who you are and what you want to do. My approach is consultative, reflective and all about you. I will be a calming presence to support you and help relieve any stress. I will never tell you what you should do, but help you find out what it is that you want and how you can create that.
