Antenatal wisdom workshop with the wonderful Samsara Tanner aka ‘Grandmother Birthkeeper’.
Come along to the Avalon Birth House and reflect, learn and clear your mind in preparation for the greatest adventure. Samsara has been a childbirth educator and doula for over 30 years and is a deep source of both information and inspiration around pregnancy, birth and beyond.
You will learn all about physiological birth, home, birth centre and hospital birth choices, holistic tools and more. There will be discussions around tools for self-reliance, comfort measure and pain relieving medications, should you choose them. Samsara will enlighten you to all of your various options to empower you to make informed decisions about your birth and early postpartum.
These six week classes run in evenings to enable those of you who are working to get home and have some food before arriving.
The Avalon Birth House is a beautiful venue, with an open fire, birth balls and beanbags, comfy sofas and a downstairs bathroom. Tea and snacks are provided.
There will be opportunities to meet other people and couples on the same journey and create new connections and community.
